So instead of playing one of the many games that I haven't beaten (Pokemon Diamond, .Hack//GU: Remeniscence, Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess, Devil May Cry, and Final Fantasy XII) I bought Resident Evil 4 (Game Cube version). Steven is also giving me his copy of Final Fantasy X-2. I really fail at gaming. Although it is nice to have something else to play when I get frustrated with one game.


Marching band competitions started on the 15th. The competition was at Hunterdon. Unfortuneatly Nazareth was the only group 4 band. We ended up with a score of 74.5 which was the second highest score of the night. Imaculata beat us by .4. We did have the highest score for the entire weekend out of all the group 4 bands and we even out scored Cheshire(Group 5 BTW). This past Saturday was at Whitehall and I think that for the first time ever it didn't rain. Once again we were the only group 4 band but we did win best overall band with a score of 77. I dragged Steven along with me for this one. I don't think band competitions are his favorite things in the world. He stayed to watch Whitehall but had to leave for work before West Chester went on. Speaking of West Chester they have a crazy awesome marching band. And they're huge. They make Easton(Group 6) look like a group 1. The whole night made me miss marching band.


I'm going to ask here since I know that I'll forget to call about it. Does anyone want to go to Celtic Fest on Friday with Steven and me?

I had an interesting conversation with my mother this morning. It ended with me promising her that I won't have anal sex. We have the strangest conversations while watching Scrubs. With that thought in my head I went to class. There are some really annoying people in my computer science class. I walk in and the two of them are talking about Naruto and how people don't get something about it. I stopped paying much attentio to them after they spent the time before class started bragging about the power of their calculators. Fortuantly I won't have to deal with them after this semester because I am changing my major to Veternary Technician. I will get to help the poor kicked puppies.

So I had an eventfull thanksgiving. When we got to my grandparent's house we found many fire trucks outside. Naturally everyone freaked out. My parents went over to see what was wrong and Kristin randomly wandered off somewhere so I was left to comfort Erin who was crying. She was convinced that someone had died. I had the same thought as well. It turned out that some of the grease from the turkeys that my grandma was making caught on fire. I have pictures of the stove after the fire was out but they are on my cell phone. Anyway we ended up having KFC for dinner and it turned out to be one of the least stressful holidays in awhile. No one was actually surprised about the fire considering that most of us were expecting it to happen sooner or later.

So tomorrow I'm going flying with Steven and his friends. For those who don't know Steven is in my math class. We went bowling together about two weeks ago. After we played a few games I made him play DDR with me. After we ran into some of his friends so we played a few more games then went to that one dinner on 191. Twas much fun and my bowling actually improved slightly.

I started reading the Bleach manga online. This is the fourth series that I've read just to see what the big deal about it is. I actually like it.

Went to the Olive Garden for lunch today. Our waitress felt the need to tell us every little health issue she had (weak knees, bad back, chronic nemonia(sp?), etc.). Then we went to Barnes & Nobles. When we came home I spent around 2 hours looking for one MP3 which I finally found after much pain. Then I finally got around to making Kristin's LJ layout. So today has been slighty productive.

Tomorrow's show was cancelled unfortunetly and will not be rescheduled. This means no money for me ;_;. I think that I'll wait on the VCD maker for now and buy the YNM box set.

If you're Sephiroth, please allow me to get the hell out of the way before I iritate you, O Great and Evil one. I really can't think of any good things that can come from someone like sephiroth - perhaps because I'm frozen in terror - so I'll just say "Please don't kill me" and leave you to your own devices. Similar characters include Ultimecia(ff8), and Vormav(fft) Your polar opposite is Yuffie. You can probably get along with Seifer, Delita and Seymour.

We ended up placing 4th in championships. I'm disappointed but not upset. We gave it our all and had an awesome show. We always had the disadvantage of not having the playing power of the other bands. As the smallest group 5 band, though, we did pretty damn well. We even beat one of the bands that was expected to beat us. Sure we placed 4th but we still have something that Cheshire doesn't. People are always commenting on our discipline and other bands respect us. Northampton and Whitehall always go crazy after our shows, Freedom thought we were awesome, a random girl from another band told me she thought we were amazing, and Pleasent Valley even left us an airgram for Championships. On the other hand other bands love it when Cheshire fails. I was told by some random woman one year that "We better beat Cheshire". When they announced the band that won second Cheshire started cheering and hugging each other. When we won 4th they started laughing and cheering. Cheshire is an arrogant band that is disliked by pretty much everyone else. We still clapped for them when they placed 1st and Becky told them congradulations as they walked past as we left. I don't feel inferior to them at all.

The night itself was fun. I had popey's chicken for the first time. I bought a Nightmare Before Christmas pin and I Feel Sick vol. 1 at Hot Topic. At the show I got to see both the Jackson band (Phantom of the Opera) and Hunterdon (The Matrix).

On a malicious note I hope Cheshire moves up to 6 and gets pwnd by North Penn. Speaking of group 6, Immaculata ended up there this year. They were in the same situation we were which was being the smallest in their group. They didn't do as well as they usually did either.

I know a lot of people were annoyed with me for reacting the way I did. It seemed that Caitlin Mcenroe and I were the only ones who weren't upset or crying.

In short although I'm a bit disappointed, I don't regret anything. I had a wonderful marching band career and will miss it despite how much I complained.

( On a non-band related note )

Blood the Last Vampire is a very odd movie. Lots of gore and nothing is really explained. It left me wondering what happened to the days of the good looking vampire and not the freaky looking lizard things.

Today was spent mostly at music fest. I actually enjoyed being there which is a change. We listened to a group called Arrorgant Worms who sang the most random songs. I am in need of there CD. Also listened to spooky bell guy. I can't remember what the thing was called but apparently his show is pretty much the only one in the world that uses it. Kristin and I ended up walking around on our own for a bit. We listened to an indian guy play My Heart Will Go On on a pan flute. I've decided that they sound much nicer than a regular flute.

Yesterday everyone came over and we watched lots of anime including Angel Sanctuary, Full Metal Alchemist, and Outlaw Star. Afterwords Kristin and I watched the last 10 episodes of Sailor Moon. Took me 8 years to finish watching the series that got me into anime. I'm kind of sad now. It's like some chapter of my life has ended O_o. I'm lame like that.

I had to wake up at 8:00 this morning to get ready for my 10:45 senior picture. I finished watching Rose Red last night. It had some creepy moments along with its many lame moments. I liked it overall. The acting was rather bad in some cases. That's to be expected though. The guy who played my favorite character did a decent job. Apparently he was the same guy who played Erik in the POTO movie with the rat sex. At the end of the movie the Chandelier fell which I found very funny. My mother and sister did not get why I was giggling. Following the tradition of my favorite characters he died. I told my mother he would the moment I declared him my favorite. Her response was "So you have the kiss of death when it comes to characters".

On a school related note I decided to drop AP English.

Tuesday: Went driving with Mr. Krish then went back to sleep when I got home. Two hours later I'm woken up by Jehova's Witnesses trying to sell me magazines.

Wednesday: Woken up around 9 when my saxophone teacher called. When I went to my lesson later in the day he asked me if he was on my crap list for waking me up. I was inspired to start keeping a crap list.

Thursday: I was not woken up by phone calls or annoying religion pimping people today which was lovely. I spent the day driving my mother around. I think this was a ploy to get me to go bra shopping. I found out that there are two new .hack games coming out. One of which is an actual online game. w00t.

I got to miss 3rd block yesterday to go to the doctor. I was forced to go back for 4th which we did absolutely nothing in. I spent the class reading livejournals. I had my first driving lesson in two weeks. I have l33t parallel parking skillz. In the evening I went bowling. I probably should have stayed home like I was orginially planning. My throat hurt like hell. I did go home instead of going mini golfing though.

My throat felt much better today but I'm coughing alot, have a bad cold, and still am having trouble talking.

My parents are currently at the movies seeing Hitchiker.
